Learn at home, work, or any time of the day that is right for you! The Workforce Training Institute at SC4 has partnered with excellent online providers, listed below, to provide you with flexible options.

Choose from over 350 training options available in the areas of Career & Professional, Computer & Technology, Personal Development and Writing & Publishing. Classes start every month so it is never too late!

Most classes are six weeks long with two lessons posted each week for a total of 24 contact hours. The lessons are supplemented by interactive quizzes, assignments, tutorials, final exams and online discussions.

Attention educators:
Now you can earn Michigan State Board of Education Continuing Education Units online.

Professional development for educators is an online series designed by ed2go for K-12 teachers and administrators. Classes begin each month and you can earn 2.4 Michigan State Board of Education Continuing Education Units per class.

Note: You must be an educator in order to receive SB-CEUs for the class. To register, you must call the Workforce Training Institute at (810) 989-5788. Upon completion of registration, you will be mailed an SB-CEU form. To receive SB-CEUs, you must complete the form and return it to the Workforce Training Institute within 30 days of class completion.

Gatlin Education Services (GES) provides online training that has been designed to provide the workforce skills necessary to acquire professional caliber positions for many in-demand occupations.

Each program has a set of lessons and tests; grades are a combination of computer graded tests and the instructor/mentor’s evaluation of the students’ work. Classes start every month.
