Private Donor Loan information

Donors have established the following loans as interest free. Unless specified otherwise, repayment is to begin six months after termination of studies at SC4 with a monthly payment of $50 until paid in full. Loans do not have to follow the standard application deadline due to the emergency nature criteria. Applications are available in the SC4 Financial Aid Office and will be accepted throughout the year as long as funds are available.

Jeff Jones and Stephen Endean Memorial Loan
	For a full time Criminal Justice student who has completed at least 12 credits with a 2.0 GPA. Short-term loan only; must be paid back within 90 days. For direct expenses only (tuition, fees and books). Request a Special Application

Mary Koerber Memorial Book Loan
	For a Nursing student needing book money. Repayment is six months after termination of studies and is to be paid in full within a year. Request a Special Application

Phelps Loan
	Intended for emergency assistance for a student with unusual circumstances. To be used for direct expenses only (tuition, fees and books). Request a Special Application

Donald Shephard Memorial Loan
	Intended for emergency assistance for a student with unusual circumstances. To be used for direct expenses only (tuition, fees and books). Request a Special Application

Joseph and Elizabeth Stowe Loan
	Intended for students with unusual circumstances. Students must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and be a resident of St. Clair, Sanilac or Huron County. Limited to $2,500 per year (not to exceed cost of tuition, fees and books). Must be enrolled in at least six credits. Request a Special Application

Townley Endowment Loan
	Students must be in a medically related field and a resident of St. Clair, Sanilac, Lapeer, or Huron County. Freshmen must have a minimum 2.0 GPA; overall 2.5 GPA must be maintained after first year. Must be enrolled full time. Request a Special Application
