In addition to scholarships, the following is a list of options available to assist you in paying for your college education. - Veteran’s Benefits Assistance is available for veterans and their dependents. - Michigan Rehabilitation Service Students with disabilities may qualify for assistance. For more information, contact (810) 982-8571.
- Michigan Works! may provide eligible students with tuition-free training. For more information, contact MI Works at (810) 987-9170 or (989) 635-3561.
- Hope Tax Credit allows a reduction in federal income tax for qualified students during their first two years of college. The credit totals $1,500 per eligible student. Visit www.nasfaa.org.
- Lifetime Learning Credit Tax Credit is available to adults returning to school and students not qualifying for the Hope Scholarship. Visit www.nasfaa.org.
