Program Code: AASTM THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE PROGRAM ASSOCIATE IN APPLIED ARTS AND SCIENCE DEGREE The Therapeutic Massage program is a cooperative effort between St. Clair County Community College (SC4) and Lakewood School of Therapeutic Massage (Lakewood). The program combines occupational-specific courses at Lakewood and general education courses with the required competencies for graduation from SC4. Students must complete the graduation requirements at Lakewood and successfully finish 31 credit hours of the specified coursework at SC4 for graduation. NOTE: It is also highly recommended that graduates of this program also complete the national certification examination offered by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. |
