5 Steps to Enrollment
Welcome to St. Clair County Community College!
Whether you are a recent high school graduate or an adult returning to college, follow the instructions below to enroll in classes at St. Clair County Community College.
| Step 1: Application | |
Complete SC4's free application for admission and apply for financial aid (optional) Online Admissions Application Request that official high school/G.E.D. and/or previous college transcripts be mailed to the Enrollment Services Office. - download the transcript request form (pdf, 40K) | |
| Step 2: Orientation | |
Required. Orientation must be completed online; students can login to the orientation from any computer with Internet access. Computers are also available to complete the orientation in Room 123, Acheson Technology Center. You must apply for admission to get a user name and password for orientation. | |
| Step 3: Academic Assessments | |
If you have not taken an ACT, COMPASS, or SC4 assessment test within the last three years, you MUST take the COMPASS assessment test at no charge to you before you register for classes. Call (810) 989-5520 or (800) 553-2427, Ext. 5520 for more information.

| Step 4: Academic Advising | |
Make an academic advising appointment by calling (810) 989-5520, or toll free at 800-553-2427, ext. 5520. The academic advising session is MANDATORY for all new students and must be completed before you register! | |
| Step 5: Registration and Payment | |
Students may register in Enrollment Services, in the Acheson Technology Center, Room 123, or online using the WAVE system. Don't forget to:
