Ready to Work: Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Pre-Assessment Workshop
The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) workshop is a required pre-requisite in order to be accepted into the CNA program. During the workshop, applicants will be assessed in reading, mathematics and teamwork skills and will receive information regarding program requirements. WorkKeys assessments are included in the price of this workshop.
Ready to Work: Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) training program is a 96-hour state approved curriculum which qualifies participants to take the Michigan CNA Exam. In order to be eligible to register for this class, students must complete the following pre-requisite requirements: (1) be at least 17 years of age; (2) read at the 10th grade reading level; (3) complete the pre-assessment workshop; (4) pass a criminal background check; (5) pass a physical examination; (6) provide evidence of the Hepatitis B vaccination series and an updated TB test; and, (7) attend a CNA Orientation session.
