Sports Camps

Local youths can spend part of their summer getting fit and improving their sports skills with the help of SC4 coaches and athletes. Check out the camp options below, then follow the easy steps to register.

All camps are for youth entering grades 4-12, and each camp is split by age and ability.

Volleyball Camps and Clinics

Beginner and Intermediate Camp

July 9 to 11
9 to 11:30 a.m.

Limit: 60 campers (girls)

Cost: $105 per camper, $90 if registration and payment received or postmarked by June 29

Location: SC4 Fieldhouse

Camp highlights: This camp is designed for beginners and those with experience on a middle school team. Campers will be placed in groups with similar skill level players to assure the best teaching environment. The focus will be on the fundamental skills of the game, as well as actual game situations. All campers will receive a camp T-shirt. Limit 60 campers.

Payment can be made online at the Pier or with cash or check in the SC4 Business Office in Room 220, Main Building at 323 Erie Street in Port Huron (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday). Note: June hours are Monday through Wednesday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed Fridays.

In order to participate in the camp, registration and payment must be received online or in the SC4 Business Office by July 4, 2018. No registration at camp.

Advanced Camp

July 9 to 11
12:30 to 3 p.m.

Limit: 60 campers (girls)

Cost: $105 per camper, $90 if registration and payment received or postmarked by June 29

Location: SC4 Fieldhouse

Camp highlights: This camp is designed for those with experience on an AAU or high school team. It is strongly recommended that you have at least two years of club and/or varsity level experience to participate in this camp. The focus is on the fundamental skills of the game at the collegiate level. Sessions will be run similar to a college-level practice environment. Competitive game situations are used throughout the camp for campers to gain high level experience, as well as specialized position training. All campers will receive a camp T-shirt. Limit 60 campers.

Hitter's and Setter's Clinic

July 12
9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All skill levels

Limit: 60 campers (girls)

Cost: $70 per camper, $55 if registration and payment received or postmarked by June 29

Location: SC4 Fieldhouse

Clinic highlights: This clinic is designed for all skill levels. Whether you are a hitter or setter, or want to learn to become a hitter or setter, this is where you begin. Learn the fundamentals and get individual help.

Basketball Shooting Camp

July 9 to 12
5 to 8 p.m.

Limit: 50 campers (boys and girls)

Cost: $115 per camper, $100 per camper if registration and payment received or postmarked by June 29.

Location: SC4 Fieldhouse

Camp highlights: Camp includes intense shooting and on-court instruction. This camp for boys and girls entering grades 4-12 of all skill levels. Instruction by SC4's basketball coaches and teams.

Boys Basketball Camp

July 16 to 19
9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Limit: 50 campers 

Cost: $90 per camper, $75 per camper if registration and payment received or postmarked by July 6. 

Location: SC4 Fieldhouse

Camp highlights: Work on your fundamentals from SC4's outstanding camp staff. The camp features daily competition for boys entering grades 4 to 12. The camp is designed for all skill levels.  Camp is split by camper's age and ability. Each camper receives a T-shirt and individual instruction. Bring a good pair of basketball shoes, T-shirt, socks and shorts and a willingness to learn.

Payment can be made online at the Pier or with cash or check in the SC4 Business Office in Room 220, Main Building at 323 Erie Street in Port Huron (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday). Note: June hours are Monday through Wednesday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed Fridays.

Girls Basketball Camp

July 23 to 26
9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Limit: 50 campers

Cost: $90 per camper, $75 per camper if registration and payment received or postmarked by July 13.

Girls Softball Camp

June 25 to 27 (rain date June 28)
9 a.m. to noon
All campers must check in from 8:30 to 9 a.m. Monday, June 26.

Limit: 40 campers 

Cost: $85 per camper, $70 per camper if registration and payment received or postmarked by June 20.

Location: North River Road Park

Camp highlights: A professional staff will teach students individually and in small groups according to ages. The camp is designed for girls grades 4-12 of all skill levels.  Camp is split by camper's age and ability. Campers will get instruction in pitching mechanics, hitting fundamentals and infield/outfield drills. Each camper receives a camp T-shirt.

What to bring: Bat, glove, practice gear and a sweatshirt or jacket.

Payment can be made online at the Pier or with cash or check in the SC4 Business Office in Room 220, Main Building at 323 Erie Street in Port Huron (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday). Boys Baseball Camp

July 23 to 25 (rain date July 26)
5 to 8 p.m.
All campers must check in from 4:30-5 p.m. Monday, July 23.

Limit: 50 campers 

Cost: $85 per camper, $70 per camper if registration and payment received or postmarked by July 13.

Location: Fort Gratiot Field

Camp highlights: A professional staff will teach students individually and in small groups according to ages. The camp is designed for boys grades 4-12 of all skill levels.  Camp is split by camper's age and ability.
